How long do Epcot DP's typically last? Can you request more time?

They are an hour long. I remember back when I was researching there was information that you could extend the party, but I think there was a fee. I am not positive though.

Honestly though, an hour is plenty. At least it was for me. After the ceremony, dinner, and then dessert party, I was ready for bed

Also, after Illuminations was over...no one was kicking us out. In fact, the event guide told me to take our time and let her know when we were ready.

Typically they are an hour but you can have them longer.

I had mine from 8:00-9:30.

The only charge is if you want your food service to go longer than an hour. Then it's a pro-rated price based on the per-person cost of your dessert menu. But you really don't need the food to go beyond an hour.

I only want the food for an hour, but since we are not having a bar with brunch, I wanted to have one there, and an hour didn't really seem long enough to do that!

That is exactly what we did. We had the food from 8-9 and then from 9-930 everyone could watch the fireworks. It worked out very well.

I'm confused...ours was listed on our Contract from 8-10. Is it because they don't know what time Wishes is yet?

We just got oue BOE. Our Epcot desert party is 2hrs with food service being for an hour only. It also states that if we want it to go longer we can do it for $30 an hour per guide. Hope this helps

Wow! That is great news!!! I think 2 hours should be plenty for me, but good to know that it is affordable to add on more!

Food from 8 - 9 sounds great!!
That being the case, what time do you think you and your guests will meet with your guide and are you planning to be met at IG or are you going through backstage? We plan to do the meeting at IG thing (to save on transport costs!!) but I have heard that they won't always allow you to do this.
