Dessert Party Holiday Season Question.

I am trying to make reservations for a dessert party during the holidays. Currently the only dates are for the special Holiday version which is on the same night as the MVMCP. I feel that is too much $$$ since we would have to buy a MVMCP ticket and a dessert party ticket for the same night. I want the time for the MVMCP to be open so we can enjoy the special events during the party. We have MVMCP tickets for one night already. Do you think they will be opening up ressies for the other nights? I looked at the current season and they seemed to offer off nights during the MNSSHP. Thanks for any help or information.
