Hi. I have never had any interest in a dessert party but wondering if it may be a good way to be "somewhat" out of the crowds for NYE.

Does Epcot and MK have dessert parties on NYE? Do I try to book these when I make my regular ADRs, which is this Wednesday at 6:00 am? If I wanted to book the Illuminations Sparkling Dessert Party on NYE, what exactly do I need to do and can I do it Wednesday morning when my ADRs open up?

Thank you all so much!

2. can I do it Wednesday morning when my ADRs open up?

1. Find "Illuminations Sparkling Dessert Party" on Dec. 31, 2016 on the reservations list.
2. You can try to book anything that is within your reservations window.

Thank you very much! Do you think this may be a good idea to be somewhat separated from some of the crowds?
Also, do you know if an Epcot restaurant on NYE will take ressies for 10 pm? Maybe I can book a 10 pm dinner somewhere, for instance, Rose and Crown?
Does Rose and Crown still rope off the area for only their restaurant guests on NYE?

I am thinking my best bet may be the Illuminations Dessert Party so we can be there for NYE or a 10 pm dinner reservation somewhere.
I want to be able to have some drinks and so will my dh and dd.

I just called Disney to ask about the NYE the Illuminations Dessert Party. The CM told me I can book it at 180 days out, so I said OK, that is this Wednesday for me since I arrive on December 26. I asked how much it cost and she informed me that there are no prices yet for the NYE Dessert party. I then said but if there are people coming in on December 23 and staying through NYE they can book the NYE Illuminations party now so there should be a cost, correct? She then said that they haven't loaded them into the system yet and that would be on July 4??!!?? I just said thanks and hung up since she got me confused LOL

SOOOOO, now I'm completely lost. Will the NYE Dessert Party not load into the system until July 4?

THANK YOU!

1. Nothing will do that. Nothing.
2. I don't know.
3. I could not eat dinner at 10PM.
4. It will be full beyond all comprehension on NYE.
5. All bets are off if you enter Epcot on NYE.
Expect that just moving from one place to another will be a major accomplishment.
