Dessert Parties 101

Geed Evening Everyone,

I am planning to take my son to Disney the end of June 2019 for his 5th birthday, graduation from preK, etc. It's just going to be me, him and his "Mimi," so I was thinking about splurging for a dessert party. I know almost nothing about them as it was never worth the splurge for me before.

Is there a thread that serves as a 101? Do people have thoughts on which one is the best one for a 5-year-old boy? (Mommy likes the idea of the ones that serve her types of drinks. ) Is there anything else that you think will be helpful to know?

There are threads for each dessert party located on the TPAS board, you just have look around for them. They are updated almost every day with member experiences.

We've done the SWAGS twice and HEA once. They can be fun and a special treat for a special occasion. Note that the HEA one is the only one to my knowledge that does not serve alcohol.
