Dessert only at Sci-Fi?

I'm thinking of taking DS to Sci-Fi next trip. He's a big fan of the Sci-Fi Channel (specifically the show "Mystery Science Theater 3000"), and would probably get a kick out of it. Don't want to eat a whole meal there, just dessert. Has anyone done this-just had dessert there? If so, when/what do you recommend?

Every time we have gone has just been for onion rings and shakes. I think it is best way to experience Sci-Fi.

We did just Shakes at Sci Fi and s'mores at Prime Time. It's a great way to coll off in the afternoon and relax.

Yup I've done this and had the Apple Pie and a shake and it was very nice

JMO, but dessert is about all that's edible on their menu! Sci-Fi is a nice experience, but in general they just don't do well on food. Desserts, however, they seem to excel at. Definitely stop by for some treats and some funny movie snippets!

We have done just dessert there. We walked up one afternoon between normal meal times and got seated in less than 15 mins. We did this in early Dec 2001. It was great.

A great idea, but be prepared to wait unless you have priority seating or come after the normal lunch hour. I like to drop in around 2:30 when the wait in line is short.

Thanks for the tip! We weren't sure about making PS there, or just taking our chances.
Port Aransas is definitely the closest to us that I've ever seen anyone from the boards. DS goes to school in Kingsville and spends a lot of time in Corpus. Isn't Port Aransas just north of there? We're bird watchers and I know Port Aransas is a well-known place for bird-watching.

You are just south of us. We love Port Aransas and it is a great birdwatching spot. We live on the flats and watch them every evening from our balcony. Have fun at Disney!
