Dessert on Firework Voyage

We are doing the Magical Firework Voyage, and I was curious what kind of dessert is it? My SIL is under the impression that it's just cookies and juice. I figured it had to be a little nicer than that!

If this is the one that is part of the Grand Gathrings it is a lot more than that.

There is a large buffet set up next to the pier at the Contemporary. They have brownies, cookies, cake, petit fours and if the weather is right an Ice Cream station. There is coffee, iced tea, canned soda and bottled water. This is open for about 45 minutes prior to boarding.

Captain Hook and Mr. Smee are present during the entire buffet for photo ops. As you go to board the boat you hare given a wrapped jumbo (about seven inch) toll house cookie so you don't starve during the voyage.

There is a pirate aboud the boat who leads games and quizzes with lots of prizes given out. You first anchor in Bay Lake about 250 feet from the Electric Water PAgeant. Then you go over the bridge into Seven Seas Lagoon, cruise a while, and anchor on the extended centerline of Main Street just in front of the island in SSL. The music and narration is piped on board.

After Wishes! is over you go back to the dock where you are met by a nasty little boy dressed in green (Peter Pan) for more photo ops and that's it.

Yep, that's what we experienced (except for the large cookie). We had a great time and it's well worth the money.

I'm glad to hear this is worth the money. We are considering doing this in our trip the week after thanksgiving. We have 13 people with us, 3 families, so we figure spilting it between 3 families would be good price wise. Is this offered all year round? And how hard is this to book, I'm guessing we need a Grand Gatherings number? Any other reviews would be appreiciated!!!! Thanks

You do need a Grand Gatherings number. Last time I went (twice now with different groups) the price for adults was $30 but I have heard it has gone up. Also, each member of the group will get a pin.

Oh!! I am so excited!! We are doing this in October with our friends...we didn't tell the kiddies!!! Thanks for the great descriptions. I'd love to hear about anyone elses experiences.
