Ginger Cake at Yakatori House - Cake is light and moist, with that surprising ginger flavor. Frosting is mousse-like, with no cloying sweetness.
Carmel Apple Tart at LTT - still a favorite. The cinnamon ice cream makes the dessert! The apple filling and shortbread crust are sweet, but not overpowering.
Mickey Bar - Just love these things! And as I mentioned in another post, the chocolate shell is rain-proof!
Bavarian Cheesecake at Beirgarten - I love light cheesecakes rather than the denser New York style, so this was right up my alley! Perfect after the heavier entrees that were served.
Honor roll:
Lemon Walnut Cake at Tony's - only part of the meal worth talking about, but it was yummy and huge! White cake with thin layers of lemon curd, thin layer of icing dusted with chopped walnuts. Would have been better at room temp, had a little fridge-smell going on.
Bread and Butter pudding at Ragland Road - tasty, and I liked the small pitchers of cream and caramel that you could add to your liking. Unfortunately I dumped them both on before tasty the pudding and then found the whole thing too sweet.
Chocolate croissant at the pastry shop in France - light and flaky with just the right amount of semi-sweet chocolate.
Passing grade:
Dole Whip at MK - the pineapple ice cream is not as creamy as it once was, heading toward the consistency of sherbert.
Chocolate eclair at the pastry shop in France - tasty but the filling was an unexpected chocolate frosting rather than the usual vanilla pudding-type.
Coconut Kiki Tart at Kona Cafe - unimpressive. Plain pie crust filled with a vanilla pudding with just a hint of coconut. Topped with plain whipped cream.

Chocolate cake at Pizzafari - $3.99?? This is sold at a lot of CS places. Frosting is more like a ganache (thick fudge) so the cake is kept cold. Takes the spring out of the cake.
Strawberry parfait at ABC Commisary (sp?) - $3.99?? It's tiny! You'd get more out of eating a 50 cent strawberry yogurt!
Chocolate Mousse at ABC Commisary (sp?) - $3.99?? Again, it's tiny! Pass that yogurt!
And of course I ate a lot of Minnie's character cookies. I love these cookies for some reason. I brought a couple of boxes home, and I think I'll go grab a handful right now!
