I was looking at the menu in Epcot in U.K. for Yorkshire counter service.
The only thing I see that looks like it would be dessert might be shortbread?

Is this a dessert?

This is all that is listed that is food:
Fish & Chips - 2 strips of fish served with chips $7.99
Side of Chips - $2.69

Shortbread - $1.69

Yep, shortbread is what we got for dessert with our CS two years ago. They were really good too! Kept them for breakfast the next day.

Although I have not had the UK Counter Service dessert, shortbread is a thick delicious butter cookie. But very dense and crumbly. Next time you are in the grocery, look for Walker's Butter Shortbread in a red package. That's what I would think it is. Maybe someone can confirm ... and maybe has a picture ... but anything with butter and sugar has got to be good, right? :thumbsup2

Yes, that's the dessert. One entree, one dessert. Pretty straighforward place.

In March it was potato chips or shortbread. We took the shortbread cookies.

You had me at butter:lovestruc throw in sugar and I'm all over it:cool1:

But just don't tell me how many Weight Watcher Points are in them. :faint:

hmmmm shoes99 mentioned fish and chips and chips for dessert (is that like spam with your spam?? there's not much spam in that!) .... veerrryyy interesting ... I think I would choose the shortbread too! :goodvibes

If you were on the dining plan would they have to give you potato chips for dessert?

Is that why they aren't there anymore?

If it was actually Britain, they'd call those "crisps." Chips are what we call french fries.

If I remember correctly, they were Walker's.

YUM!!!!!!! Walkers are soooo good. I could eat the whole giant package of them :scared1: ... ok ... in the old days before I improved my eating habits. But they are one tasty cookie!!!

DH and I plan to eat at the Rose & Crown next vacation so will get fish and chips there ... but I think I will splurge on the Norway Schoolbread ... and leave the shortbread for another time! :)
