Is the Very Berry Puff Pastry the only dessert at the Garden Grill? If it is, what is it?

What about for kids>

Thanks!

It is a triangular pastry - light and fluffy, croissant-y, like pastries are. The center has a custard filling and there are bunches of yummy berries in berry juice around it.

I don't remember if there is whipped cream involved - I hate that stuff and scrape it off. But I'm thinking there *might* be. :confused3

I like it a lot. :)

The menu is set - you don't select from choices. They just bring it on out. I don't know if there is an alternative that you could get if you asked for something else or not.

We ate there on July 16. It's just as described above, though I am pretty sure there was no whipped cream, just custard.

Kids get a cupcake they can decorate themselves--a plain cupcake, a small cup of frosting, and various sprinkles for the top.

We are getting the GG for our Candelight Pkg. My 11 yrs old twins will have to pay the adult price, but will not eat the adult meats or dessert.

Do you think they can get the kids menu (we are still paying the adult $), so we are not trying to cheat or lie about their ages.

Thanks:)

On the Dininglink for the DIS: this is listed as the menu. First, they better have biscuits:love: , and apple crisp - waah. I wanted the Very Berry Puff Pastry. Do you think they offer these in addition to the items below or this is the set menu/

Anyone who went last year ???

That might be an old menu.

You get a roll and a biscuit for each person. I don't know about the butter, but it wasn't regular butter and it was yummy. I don't know about the salad dressing, but I didn't like it much and walnut would explain that.

The steak didn't have gravy, but there was some kind of au jus. The mashed potatoes aren't mashed - it is more of a casserole/au gratin kind of thing - very tasty and I'm guessing very fattening. :) There is no stuffing and the veggies are green beans and carrots.

And the dessert is the very berry pasty thingy, which I thought was really yummy. :)

I don't know about kids' menus.

Kids selections include mac 'n' cheese, chicken fingers, and fries. Anyone can eat any of the items, and it's all you can eat, so if you want more of anything, just ask.

We ate there last August and my 14 yo son ate from the kids choices. But I had 3 others eating kids meals as well. When it was time for dessert, our waiter brought my son the kids cupcake, he didn't even give him a choice of the pastry. Of course, if he wanted the pastry we would have asked, but he didn't. They will accomodate you, they're pretty good about that.
