At one time there was this giant monstrosity of a dessert at 50s PTC. It was some sort of sundae with ice cream, chocolate sauce, whipped cream, caramel corn, m&ms, and maybe other stuff too. My DD (10) saw a picture online and nearly fainted! Do they still have it there? She is very excited about trying what she called "heaven on a plate"!!!

The only one I can think of that fits your description is the Brownie Sundae. It's not THAT big, though...but absolutely delicious! My fave! ;)

I immediately thought of the brownie sundae too. Had one last month and it came with all those things you described. It is big but not overly huge, quite delicious though!!

Had one last week! It was our favorite out of all the desserts we had (quite alot as we were on the DDP). It consisted of a brownie on the bottom with vanilla ice cream on top, hot fudge sauce on one side, caramel sauce on the other, whipped cream on top of everything and m&m's and caramel popcorn as toppings. There was no candy corn, but it didn't need it. It was perfect the way it was. Enjoy!

We got that in the past but I don't think they make it that big anymore. The only thing I see big is the Kitchen Sink at Beaches & Cream.

we had the brownie sundae last october and it wasn't as "big" as in years past - not as large a brownie, not as much whipped cream - cutbacks.

I believe your daughter saw the kitchen sink at Beaches & Cream. Didn't get to try it this trip but we hope to next fall

That sounds like what used to be the Dad's Sundae - I had one in '99 and it was just as you described.

Yep I loved the Dad's Sundae, after all I'm a Dad! The Brownie Sundae offered now is nice but it's not as good as the old one.

I use to have one of the SPECIAL milkshakes from the bar but on the last visit.. I couldn't get one.... so I left without dessert...

The dad's sundae is the one you are thinking of. It was definitely more than a single serving sundae. Same with the the smores - it was huge. Now both are smaller, more like a single serving/person dessert. I believe this change is mainly due do the many dining plans. These items weren't labeled as serving more than one, so everyone at the table could/would have ordered the large dessert rather than sharing one or two desserts with the whole table - so much waste.

DH would always get the sundae and I would get the smores - both were much larger than either of us could finish. Now when we order them, they are a much more managable size.

This is the Dad's Sundea that I got just last week. I also believe it was smaller then the one that I had last year. This is one of my favorite desserts at Disney.

me too! it was delicious but i could only eat 1/2 after the peanut butter and jelly shake, salad, and meatloaf dinner. VERY good popcorn on it!!

I am so glad you posted this photo and said it was from last week. I was hoping to get this again but it was not listed on the All Ears menu. Thanks for sharing that it is available. Is it still called Dad's Sundae? Oh, I can't wait to order this for my kids, the are going to go crazy!!!

I just checked the menu here and they're calling it the brownie sundea (I honestly don't remeberwhat it said on the menu when I ordered it), but it is the same as when they called it Dad's sundea--just smaller.

Oh good, thanks so much for telling me. I think the best part of ordereing dessert is seeing my kids faces when they first see them and this is a good "OOOOHHHHHH and AAAAHHHHHH" dessert for sure!
Thanks again!!!
