Is it possible a despicable me suite and upgrade to use the club lounge?

Yup, you can upgrade at check-in. It will be about $100 extra per night.

Subject to availibility too...If they have too many guests already booked club level for that time frame, they might not have it..This was the case in August.Between all the guests that booked club and all the conferences in the hotel that had booked club for its participants, they were full.I overheard someone requesting it at check in and was told it was not available as an add on because it was pretty full ( and it was .they ran out of food every single day I was there)..My guess is this is a not a common occurence at PBH but can happen

I called the hotel directly and booked it that way.
