Despicable Me - OPEN! (Official OPEN July 2,2012)

There is no indoor queue, the first doors you enter take you to the living room type area, where you grab your glasses and are divided into rows. You see a short video, then you enter the second preshow room, gru's lab. You watch another video and then you enter the theatre.

I knew that, but where do the doors start?

I got to ride tonight with my 12 yr old son!! We got into the first room after about a 40 minute wait. Went into the second room where we got stuck for another 20 minutes or so due to tech problems, then finally got to ride. It's a blast!!

The downside is we walked out into a full fledged right on top of us thunderstorm at closing. But I don't care, I GOT TO RIDE!!!

Here is a rough picture, with purple being the facade, yellow being the main queue, and blue being the future express queue (not open yet). The doors are on the side of the building facing shrek, a little ways down the building.

I wouldn't say that.I love Universal just as much as Disney.I just find it weird they would invest $$$$ in an attraction and then use a movie that you could buy in a DVD 2 pk at Walmart.Won't stop me from going on it

But to respond the statement, none of these are the movie from DM. It was created for Universal, and is not any of those movies. These are not included in any of the two preshows either.

The ride is cute and definitely made for this ride.

Glad to hear that. I watched the three mini-movies that come with the original in the 2 pack and didn't see any that sounded like the description of the ride film.

OK, I know some people think Soarin' is the best ride ever. I think it's an OK 2 minute film with a fan and some air freshener.

I'm sure Dueling Dumbos will be spectacular.
