Despicable Me At Universal Hollywood?

I might be making a stop by Universal Studios in California at the end of March. I quickly Googled Despicable Me at Universal and most of the stuff coming up is only in Orlando even though I swear I saw ads for it in Hollywood too. I guess the rumors are that Despicable Me is replacing Terminator in 2013, does anyone know when this is expected to be completed? T.I.A.

I haven't heard, but T2 3D stopped playing December 31, 2012- so give them what 4 months or so to switch to something else- because they will have to re-build the stage area as well as the queue...and with Despicable Me's new movie coming this summer I would say it could open anytime this Spring- but I haven't seen Universal even make a formal announcement that that is what is going in there (I could have missed it) so at this time it is just all rumors....

It took Universal Orlando 11 months to convert Jimmy Neutron Nicktoon Blast to Despicable Me MInion Mayhem. I wouldn't think that Universal Hollywood would be any faster considering the entire interior of Terminator would need to be changed where in Orlando, the seating configuration remained the same.

There has been very little chatter about it.

wow- 11 months! That is interesting to note- well if they push hard then maybe end of summer to go with the movie?? we shall see.... I'm just glad T2 is retired, it wasn't one of the shows you would want to see more than once IMO...
