Desperately Seeking Mushu!

Aloha friends! I'm polypixie_01 and iloveeeyore's Disney Daughter. In 2001, my dad was not with my mom, brother and I when we saw his favorite character Mushu without him. He never let us hear the end of it! We went in 2004, but still no Mushu. It is now 2006 and we're going. Will someone please save me from my father and tell me where in the World to find Mushu in late August?!

You'll have to check with guest relations on the actual days, but Mushu was at MGM right in the entranceway to the park for several days around 2 PM during our last trip.

Mushu is at China in Epcot. He is with Mulan.

Ask any CM when you arrive at a park and they can tell you exactly where and when Mushu will be meeting guests.

I have only seen him in Animal Kingdom and at the time he was in Asia, along the pathway toward Kali River Rapids. But that was during a Press Event so he may not be there during regular hours.

We've seen Mushu several times at MGM. Best bet is to ask a CM, they can usually find out where and when a character will be appearing. Also, if Mushu is a favorite be sure to check the updated Disney animation attraction at MGM. An animator explains the steps in creating an animated character, with Mushu's assistance.

I met Mushu at CHina in Epcot too, it was late afternoon.

Musho is in epcot at china pavillion with mulan in front of the theatre.

Mushu seems to pop up the most in China at Epcot. He meets in a few different areas around the pavillion, so you may have to scan around. Often he is with Mulan. Most recently, we seen him on the sidewalk by the entrance/exit to the gift shop, the one that the China show exits into. On rarer ocassion, we seen him at the front of Animal Kingdom. But China seems to be best!

I was thrilled to find a very petite and short, I mean less than 5 foot tall Mushu at AK's entrance in December of 2005. We were thrilled to find him! Good luck in your quest. Maggie

On my last two trips I was unable to find Mushu but I am going to continue to look but I wish you the best of luck in finding your Dad's favorite character, I know how important those character meetings are. So here's some for you. Good luck.

We vistited Epcot on three different occassions two weeks ago and we was not there on any of the 3 days. All of the CM's we spoke with mentioned he is in China with Mulan most days, but she was only there one of the three days and he wasn't there any of the three days. Also, Mary Poppins is listed on the times guide as being out every day, but she was not there any of the days either - same with Alice and Pooh. However, we did find Belle, Beast, Figment, Aurora, Cinderella, Mulan, Snow White, the usual characters at character connection, and then we hit the jackpot by American Adventure with a training session - found the Sheriff of Nottingham, Tigger, Rabbitt, Mr. Penguin, Suzy, Perla, Koda, Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Gideon, Max and a couple others.

we had a wonderful character meet with Mushu outside AK, he played with DD and generally played tricks on her and teased her, we got some of the best photos that day....... that CM was brilliant fun.

hi !...well I've only seen mushu in china @ Epcot...but you can ask any Cm and they will be able to tell you where and when you can find any character you need! good luck

In May we saw Mushu in the China Pavilion at Epcot, like many of the other posters. He was kind of tucked away that day and would have missed him if we didn't walk back to the shopping center/store. No one else was around and DS got lots of time with him.
