Our Magic Bands have shipped and should arrive on Saturday

Madilyn's Anna dress and shoes came in yesterday and she loves them

Now, I'm just watching the weather and checking in periodically for A&E FP+

The only two meals I'm still trying to figure out are lunch at DTD (Wolfgang Puck Express vs Earl of Sandwich) and dinner before or after Fantasmic (Fairfax Faire or Big River Grille). I'd love your input!

I sent a note to school with my daughter telling her of our intentions to pull Madilyn out of school for a week to go to Disney World. I got back a really sweet reply telling us to have a great time and that she won't miss much

That's nice. When they are little the schools are nice. Teachers usually say "can I come?" and give a little work. Now that our are older, we can't take them out anymore. Enjoy the time w/ the kids. It goes way too fast!!!

BTW - pretty much the same time we will be at WDW. We've been before in January. Nice time of year. Weather can go either way. Crowds are nice.

Single digit dance!!!!

I have started packing, but have a lot left to do. I need to pick up a few more odds and ends and do some laundry. My mission this weekend is to get my house clean (and try to keep it that way next week).

My cousin Marie (the one who joined us on our 2012 trip) live 1/4 mile from me and has agreed to feed my cat while we're gone. She's allergic to cats, but will be okay as long as she doesn't pet him.

My next update will be to start the actual trip report

We are four days out. My little girl spent half the night throwing up. Her fever is 99 this morning, down from 102 last night. Of course we were waiting in the parking lot for her pediatrician to open this morning. We are in the waiting room now. Cross your fingers for us!

And it's the flu! My girl is at grandma's house today while I'm at work. She is taking Tamiflu and getting lots of rest so that she will hopefully be better by Sunday. I took her to the doctor yesterday. Her pediatrician feels that she will be okay to go to Disney. Incidentally, the pediatrician loves Expedition Everest and has a stay booked for October at Beach Club
