Desperate for Coke Store Update!

So you can now pay for the delight of drinking Beverley at Springs?

pretty much.

I was just there over 4th of July weekend. The first 2 floors are nothing but wall to wall coke merchandise. This kind of thing doesn't really appeal to me, but there's lots of it if you're into that kind of thing. The top floor is the "bar" area and I was kind of disappointed in the menu. To me, it was a glorified club cool that you can pay for. I'll go back to Epcot for free, thanks.

I was there the weekend after it opened...tried the international soda tasting...$8 for 16 samples...about 5 were actually drinkable...the rest were bad.

The other option where you get 8 (?) soda w/ice cream samples with more normal flavors would probably have been better

Coca-Cola has traditionally been on the cutting edge of advertising, and doing so in such a way that has emotional appeal. They created the modern visual of Santa Claus, as well as having colorful, attractive ads going all the way back to the beginning of the 20th century. Nostalgia goes hand in hand with Coca-Cola.

True. Also, while Coca-Cola is truly worldwide now, it has firm Southern roots. Many folks in the South are proud of it, and display the old signs as a nostalgia for days gone by in the South. It's a local Southern business that has conquered the world.
