Desk of DD10

DD10 wants a Desk for Christmas. Anyone know any that are decent quality and still responable?

DD has had shabby Chic desk Target and has lasted about 6 years now. I wish I had had a piece of glass cut for the top since she spilled nail polish on it and then tried to remove it with nail polish remover... grrrrr

Make sure you read the reviews on Target, they are usually spot on and Target does not remove negative reviews. They routinely have free shipping on the furniture.

Ikea is another option.

Try Costco. We saw some cute ones there when we were looking this summer. Can't comment on quality though as we are still deciding.

My daughter wanted this desk when we went to Ikea. The photo is at a bad angle but the top is colorful designs and words.

They have lots of colorful tops and I believe you can buy rolling storage bins and chairs that aren't too expensive either.

My first stop would be Craigslist. We got DS a reasonable desk for $10 and he was happy. We had plexiglass cut for top which helps keep the messes down.
