Designated Smoking Areas @ the Resorts

So how are the smoking areas "defined" at the resorts?

I was looking at the map of POR.

I noticed the majority of the smoking areas at by the pools. Are they next to the pool.........away from the pool? Are they loosely defined or like a fenced in area?

I personally don't like the smoke and just wouldn't like to be a the pool with several smokers near by.

NOTE:
I am not looking for a smoking/non-smoking battle here. I am just curious about the configuration of the smoking areas. Thanks.

Walt Disney World Resorts Are Smoke-Free
All Disney-owned and operated hotels at the Walt Disney World Resort are smoke-free as of June 1, 2007.

The policy applies to all guest rooms, patios and balconies and designates outdoor smoking areas at all resorts affected by the change.

Smoking is also prohibited in all lobbies, common areas, restaurants and convention spaces.

The policy also applies to all Disney Vacation Club Resorts.

With more than 20 Disney owned and operated resorts on the Walt Disney World property, this represents the largest single site resort complex to institute this type of smoking policy change.

Disneyland (California) resorts became smoke-free on March 1, 2006.

In January 2000 the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks and water parks adopted a policy restricting smoking to designated smoking areas only.

This thread will most likely be closed by moderators, just "in fear" of such battle.

As far as I know they are smoking sections similar to those in the parks. Just marked areas, no fence, and somewhat off to the side.
