Design Studio question

I got the software for Christmas and I have been playing with it a bit on the computer, but I haven't printed anything yet. My question... If you use say two different fonts in a merged word will it print the word as one image? I am a little confused how I switch carts mid print. I want to use speaking of winter and a normal font (such as George or printing 101) in one word.

I don't have the Software but I have heard that the program will tell you when to switch carts. Here is a link to the Design studio section of the Cricut boards, you may find your answer there.
