design request - WDW College Program

My daughter will be leaving in just over two months to live in the WORLD... she'll be doing the WDW College Program for four months. We'll be vacation at Disney two weeks before she goes and I'd love for her to have a shirt to wear that tells others that are part of the program that she too will soon be part of the team. I can't believe my daughter is going to work at Disney World!!!

Sorry I have no design to share with you, but I do want to share that my daughter just got off the college program. By far the very best experience of her life, but I have to tell you she went full time and stayed!!! She has transferred to UCF and will be starting classes in the fall.

Housing solution? We ended up buying a rental home that came fully furnished in Davenport a few minutes SW of Animal Kingdom. I have two other daughters that want to go to college in Florida so it seemed right to set up residency- my daughters leave next week after school ends for the summer. I'm afraid I will loose them all to the MOUSE.

I am so afraid of this happening (I've actually mentioned it alredy). Hoping this is NOT the case, it is quite expensive for us to go visit her for an early Christmas (especially when we are going in eight weeks for a family trip).

Good luck to your daughter, I've heard only good stuff about the program.

I was thinking something on the idea of I'll soon be working with the mouse... future WDW College Program, something... sounds kind of lame, sorry. Thats why I came looking for some ideas, but I guess I've stumped the designers.

I also had an idea using a cast member badge, but I don't know what the current ones look like. Anyone have a picture of the current WDW CM badge?

I printed out your design and it looks great. Don't have it on a shirt yet, but can't wait to go shopping. I was worried at first... I saved the pic and then when I went to print it, it was so tiny.... I thought, oh no, when I enlarge it, it will get all fuzzy, but NO WAY!!! It looks great. Thanks again.

Think I could have a WDWCP shirt involving Dumbo or another Disney Elephant, if that isn't to much of a bother?

Aubre will be doing QFS also. She isn't arriving until September 5th, a couple weeks after our trip. She is so excited (as am I).

Ahh! Do NOT be sad if your daughter stays full time! I graduated from college May 2006, came down from Chicago in August for a College Program, continued with a Professional Internship in January, and now I am full time... never going home!!! I'm the happiest I've ever been in my life. And I talk to my mom more often than I did when I lived at home! We talk daily! My mom loves that I'm workin' for the Mouse... I have awesome connections, get her great merchandise, send her pixie dust in the mail (seriously... pixie dust), and she gets into the parks for free.

If you ever want to chat with my mom about being a Disney parent, just let me know. Really!!!

Just wanted to chime in as another CP-Mom...my oldest did a CP, went back to school for a semester and is now a full time CM at WDW. My 19yo is in her extension of her CP (she's a Fairy Godmother in Training, how fun is THAT???) and while she's planning to return to school, she's planning to go back in September (just a few weeks after her CP is over) to start getting her seasonal part time hours.

Both DDs are the happiest they've ever been, even on not-so-great paychecks and that makes ME a happy mom! Oh, and we were able to purchase DVC at the CM discount...

Love the design, BTW...wish her all the best and be sure to post where she'll be working so the DISers can say hello!

Thanks for the kind note. It is nice to talk to others who have been in my shoes. Being my daughter hasn't been more than 20 miles from home this will be hardest on me... We are planning a early Christmas trip though, so we'll get to see her around the holidays.

Hey!

A friend directed me to this thread - another CP mom here! My daughter is checking in on August 15th in operations-- we are going down a few days early for the Pirate and Princess Party and then I am actually staying in St Pete for a few weeks at the inlaws condo (ALONE!) and then my husband is flying down to see the darling daughter actually working! LOL !

She is hoping to end up at the Rosen College of Hospitality - or lets say she is going to check it out - we are going on the tour the Monday before she checks in and I would love for that to all work out for her!

I am living SO VICARIOUSLY through her - anyway if anyone wants to chat just PM me. It's a little sad but soooo exciting too!

I know this is a strange request but could you change the date to 2005! That is when I did the program and this would look adorable in my scrapbook! If you don't want to thats cool too!
