Is this attraction at Epcot or Disney Quest. My 11 year old is dying to go to Epcot because she heard about this attraction (on tv). I thought I remembered hearing something about it at Disney Quest. Has anyone done this, can you tell me about it?

Thanks
Jenn

It is located in DQ. Have been to to DQ several times but haven't tried this one.

Hi jenn. We did this last year. It's quite clever, you can pick & mix different ride segments and loop them together for your ride. I did it with DD, 10 then, who is a coaster freak like me. We both agreed that it was'ok', but not one to repeat, as it was quite jerky and a wee bit claustrophobic. If you don't mind inversions and a bit of knocking about, try it.

Both DH & I really like it. Thispast trip DH did it four times in a row while DD (5) completed an animation course.

My DS did it our last trip. I sat outside the booth and watched him. We even bought the tape and watch it frequently. You will really enjoy it!:Pinkbounc

So, it's in Disney Quest? I don't know much (anything) about DQ. Is it one admission to get in? Is it like game works? Will a 11 and 13 year old girl enjoy it? Is it somewhere kids this age could go on their own? On the roller coaster, is it a virtual reality type of thing? Trying to get an idea of exactly what it entails I suppose I could do a search...Thanks for the info!

Jenn

1 ADMISSION GETS YOU IN. IT HAS 5 LEVELS OF PLAY AREA. THE RIDE IS VIRTUAL. YOU FIRST DESIGN YOUR RIDE ON A COMPUTER THEN TAKE THE CARD TO THE CM. HE ENTERS IT INTO ANOTHER COMPUTER AND YOU GET IN THIS CAPSULE LOOKING THING(I KNOW SOMEONE KNOWS WHAT THIS IS CALLED). YOUR RIDE THEN BEGINS. IF THE COASTER YOU DESIGNED HAS A LOOP, YOU LOOP. IF IT BANKS, YOU BANKS. IT IS JUST LIKE RIDING A REAL ONE. YOU WATCH THE SCREEN IN FRONT OF YOU, WHICH SHOWS WHAT YOU ARE DOING. YOU DO HAVE A BUTTON YOU CAN HIT TO STOP THE RIDE IF YOUR COASTER IS MORE THAN YOU BARGAINED FOR. THERE IS PLENTY TO DO AT DQ. I MIGHT GET RIBBED FOR THIS, BUT I HAVE LEFT MY DS AT QUEST WHILE I WALKED AROUND THE MARKET PLACE.

Thanks for your response. As luck would have it, the search feature is down. You know, our kids are extremely responsible, well behaved kids. The older one babysits for other children etc. I'm not sure this is somewhere I'd want to spend a lot of time and if it is a hefty admission.... I'd much prefer to walk around the marketplace myself. On the other hand, I'm sure DD will want me to experience her masterpiece!! I don't set foot in real rollercoasters but something about knowing that I'm not leaving the ground seems to make it doable for me :~)

Thanks again
Jenn

I RIDE REAL COASTERS WITH NO PROBLEM, BUT I COULD NOT RIDE THE COASTER MY DS DESIGNED. WHEN DESIGNING ONE, THEY PUT IN AS MUCH THRILL AS THEY CAN. IF YOU BUY THE TAPE OF YOUR KIDS RIDING THEIR COASTER, YOU WILL STILL END UP COMING OUT CHEAPER THAN YOU BUYING A TICKET TO DQ JUST TO WATCH. DID THAT MAKE SENSE?

We went in July...All I wanted to do was design my rollercoaster and RIDE!! Well, I didn't make it past the first hill. I could not stand to be closed up in that tiny capsule spinning and jerking around. I was sooo upset with myself. I guess that is what happens when you get older. Thank goodness for the little red button. If you decide to ride your coaster, good luck and have fun. After that experience I don't plan on trying Mission Space.

My dh thought designing your own coaster sounded like sooooo much fun. He put in lots of loops and stuff. He was feeling quite ill for a good while after!;) (he should have pushed the red button; but I guess that wouldn't have been cool! )

Hey dmonroe...looks like we are neighbors!! I hated to walk out of that capsule after pushing the button...I think the CM thought my daughter had done it. I was so upset!! I LOVE rollercoasters but could not handle that one!

What type of park tickets are you purchasing? If you purchase the Unlimited Park Hopper, which is the tickets that are attached to your room keys, if you are staying at one of the Disney owned resorts, you can have admission to Disney Quest. It is also included in the Premium Annual Pass.

However, if you don't have either types of these admission media, DisneyQuest® Ticket pricing:
Guest Ages 10 and Up $31.00 + $2.02 tax = $33.02
Guest Ages 3-9 $25.00 + $1.63 tax = $26.63

CyberSpace Mountain, the attraction that everyone else is talking about is AWESOME!!!! Can't wait to do it again!

WE HAVE DONE LENGTH OF STAY PASSES OUR LAST 2 TRIPS AND WENT MANY TIMES. THIS YEAR....PAP FOR US! YEA!!:earseek:
OK, sorry about all caps! I have learned my lesson.

I think we are just doing the 4 day plus. I believe that is only 1 plus on the 4 day? Does DQ count as a plus or is it something completely different? Once inside, is there separate charges for anything or all inclusive with addmission?? We are staying off site in a condo.

Jenn

The attraction is in Disney Quest in Down Town Disney. It is called. Cyber Space Mountain.
