Another vote for the Plaza Garden party. We've done it several times, both the before and after parties and always found it well worth it as a nice "extra". We do prefer the after party, although it's a little more money.

I wouldn't waste my time on the Terrace and if you're looking for a place to sit, many people sit on the grass in the Plaza Garden until fireworks time. Sometimes everyone stands up, sometimes they don't, but it's nice to sit for a while.... provided it's not rainy and wet.

And now I hear alcohol might be included....so there's that

Considering doing the after fireworks party for our visit this May. How early do you recommend getting to the viewing area?
