I am planning our family's first trip to DL. The Anaheim Desert Inn and Suites have good prices and rooms avail- is it a nice, clean hotel? I really want a hotel that we can walk to in the afternoon-for naps, and that has a pool.
I just wanted some comments from anyone who has stayed there before, or has recommendations!

We've stayed here a few times. It's perfectly fine and a great location. We don't care for the pool though. It is inside and it gets very steamy and humid in that room. To others that's a plus. But I was uncomfortable while watching my son swim.

We stayed there in august 2006 and would stay there again. We could watch the fireworks over DL from our rear window (we were on the 4th floor). We did not use the pool, and frankly don't think I would - but I am an adult with no kids...

I have stayed at this hotel twice and am staying there again in April. I have never used the pool, but the rooms are fine and the walk to the park is about as close as you can get. It is nothing special, but it has always been clean and we haven't had any complaints or problems so far.
