Desert Inn & Suites?

We are at the Desert Inn & Suites right now (I type this from the room). Once again we have had a magical experience so far with this hotel. Upon check-in they upgraded us to a Parlor A suite. We love this room because you get an extra living room area to relax on the couch. We got here at around 11:00 yesterday and they let us check-in early and park our car in their lot and go to Disneyland. Our room wasn't ready yet so we left to go play and returned around 2:30 and we were given the suite. The staff has been great so far. I slept like a baby in the very firm bed.

Did you ask for the upgrade or did they just give it to you? We're going late March, and this would be great.

The first time we visited they just surprised us with the upgrade. This time my husband joked around with the front desk and asked if they were upgrading our room again. We have had a great trip!

imp&pixie - have you used their laundry room? do you know how much it costs to use the washers and dryers? thanks!!

I believe it's $1.50 to wash and the same to dry. So $3 for one complete load quarters only. I think they sell singe load boxes of soap also, but I usually bring my own or get those "wash and dry" all in one sheets which are great for travel but terrible for everyday use, too expensive

thanks for the info!

Does anyone recall breakfast hours? I did some research and it looks like its served 7:30 am-9:30 am, which doesn't sound convenient if you want to be by the gates well before park opening (7 am for Magic Morning and 8 am other days, during our stay). Could this change according to park hours? Complimentary breakfast was something I was looking forward to.

Yah it's pretty late. If the park opens at 8 you could grab some danish on the fly and eat it on the way.

If the breakfast is not up and going by 0600-0630 it is not worth it to me and paying $219/night for a C-1 + 15%+ ?? just cancelled my ressie.
