Which of these hotels would you recommend? We're travelling with 6 adults and 3 young children and want somewhere close and CLEAN. Thanks for your help!

We always stay at the BWPPI. We have a 3 year old and a 1 year old and have always been happy with the rooms, they are very clean and very close to the park. They also provide a free breakfast, muffins, cereal, etc. at the restaurant next door.

Ditto with the pp, we always stay at the BWPPI because of its location. The rooms are clean and have a variety of different types of rooms to choose from, but some people don't like BWPPI rooms being not so clean. The free continental breakfast at Captain Kidd's is great to have, but its nothing special.

The good thing about BWPPI in your situation is that you can get the two queen bed room with a sofa bed, so you can have three beds in your room and save a little money.

The pool is not big, but it is good enough for people to rest up after a long day at the parks.

I've never stayed at the BW but I stayed two nights at the FF then two at the Desert Inn back to back and the DI was a big step down from the FF. I wouldn't go back to that one. The FF was nice.

I've only stayed at the BWPPI out of these. Stayed there 2x and was happy both times. The location can't be beat. I found it clean enough, and I'm pretty picky. Fridge was great size, esp. with kids.

I know someone who stayed at Desert Inn and they liked it also. I think she always stays there.

We just stayed at the Fairfield and was quite happy with our stay. The room was clean and staff very friendly and helpful. The walk to the gates was a breeze.

Sorry - what is BWPPI? I'm a DL newbie planning a trip in Oct. Still not decided where to stay.

Thanks for the help....will a four year old be able to walk to the Fairfield easily?

Your child might be able to to walk to the DLR entrance. But, I have seen adults carry their kids or have strollers with them when they go to the parks and back to the hotels to the north of Harbor Blvd. It is about a 9-10 min walk from FF to the DLR entrance.
