The pull out at DI&S isnt very big so if your little feels safe and soothed when he is enclosed in a smallish space this should work. May I suggest bringing an electric air pump if you have one. The size of the included hand pump compared to the size of the inflated rails makes me think you'd be pumping them up for an hour.

We stayed there last month with the intent of my brother sleeping on the sofa bed and our family of four on the 2 beds. He didn't complain about the bed. However when I laid on it for a minute, it was a little worn out, could feel the springs. I could never sleep on it but he was fine.

The sheets were already placed on the bed upon checkin so assuming housekeeping replace with each guest.

We loved the extra space. The motel served our purpose and we specifically booked the site cuz needed it for 3 rooms all with that 2nd room. Everyone loved it.

I looked and found this video. It says it only takes 30 seconds using the foot pump.

When we were there in 2015, I was definitely happy to have the extra space. Before our trip we debated about getting a regular room or the parlor suite. So happy with our choice since we had so much luggage, a pack n play, and a stroller. This time we won't have the pack n play but we'll still have the stroller and whatnot.
