description of gift sent in post 24 (no bride ears - just bride headbands)

The hat did not actually replace the headband - first they had an old style hat, then phased it out in favour of the headband, then introduced a new hat which was a choice alongside the headband (new hat shown in the posted photo) - hope it's good whichever you have.

on the disney merchandise website they don't show either one..
just the groom hat...

I had the headband too, I found it much more comfortable than the hat.

I'm sure she'll be happy at whatever you get, I'm sure shes going to love the basket.

We were in Epcot this morning waiting for Turtle Talk and spotted a wee girl wearing the hat in the pictures. Haven't looked for one in the shops, but the one the wee girl was wearing was pristine. Can't imagine it would have been had it been of any age at all. Will keep my eyes open if we're in any shops.

so i finally put in an order for a gift for each couple from the disney florist..
i ordered the family treat tote - personalised with their name

and the bride and groom ears for each couple (the top hat ears for the groom and the head band ears with veil for the bride)...
plus a bouquet of mylar balloons (she wasn't sure what they would say yet, she was going to check what was available)..
plus a card from "your pals" or something like that - she said mickey can't type so it's not from him directly...
i told her that mickey could use a voice recognition program, so she said she'd tell mickey that...
i got exactly the same thing for both couples
it will be delivered to their rooms some time after they check in, on the first day we arrive.
the girl at the disney florist was as sweet as can be!!
