  • I am the Solo Disney Nut - family members just go along with me

  • My spouse/significant other is the Nut - I just go along and try to act like I'm having fun

  • We are equally nutty (or mousey) - a match made in Disney!

  • A relative is the mouselover and we just oblige them

I'm so very curious about this - who in the family was/is the Disney ringleader - who just goes along with it

We're all Disney nuts, although we do have varying degrees of nuttiness.

I'm the WDW planning, Mickey Mouse loving, Walt Disney nostalgic nut. My DH hates the planning part, he leaves that all to me, but he's a WDW, Disney animation, Walt Disney nostalgic nut just like me.

We are raising two fine young Disney nuts. Both DS's love Disney movies and characters, and they love going to WDW - although they both opted out of our last trip to spend the week with Grandma instead! :earseek: After that temporary bit of insanity (nothing against Grandma, of course), they are now anxiously awaiting our next trip to the World.

I'm the main Disney nut in our house. DH couldn't care less, in fact he's not even going with us this trip, and it'll be our first time without him! Oh well! LOL!
DS11 and DS18 are into Disney, but they're not obsessed like me. But we still talk about our upcoming trip everyday, and we talk about our past trips a lot. I'm grateful that my boys are taking after me instead of after their dad, because I'm training them to be true Disney lovers!
As for extended family, they just don't get it at all, it's a been there done that mentality with them. Their loss!

I'm the nuttiest disney nut at the moment!! My dh enjoys disney movies too and we went to see Little Mermaid Beauty and the Beast etc in the movies when they came out. (before we had kids!) we also bought the videos before the kids too! Right now I"m the most excited about our trip because I"m planning like crazy and my Dh is annoyed at my constant Diz talk! Actually we planned this trip for April because our older kids are at good ages 10 and 8 and our youngest (almost 3) is SO into the Disney movies! we started her on Dumbo in the summer and she's watched almost ever movie we own now over and over again!(her favs are Sleeping Beauty and Little Mermaid) anyway its cool for her cause she thinks shes meeting the REAL characters !

I voted for I am the solo Disney nut, but I have turned my DS into one. We sometimes read the Kid's Official Guide to Disney as his bedtime story even when we are not planning a trip! You can name an attraction, and he will tell you what park it is located and whether it is wet, dark, scary, or rough.

I am definitely the Disney nut. My DH is very detailed and organized so he likes it but laughs at the whole megaplanning thing. The first time we went we knew nothing and saw very little. What a difference a few guide books and this forum make. Thanks to all.

I am the Disney nut in our household. DW is definatly a WDW fan, but sometimes gives my "that look" when I interject Disney into every conversation.

I guess I'm the fanatic, DW is the nut. We've been thinking everything Disney since I announced her B'day gift of this trip. Then it was time to let her neices know what I planned. (Each year I give my wife a trip with her 3 neices, for her b'day. One of those annual keep everyone bonding trips. The family gets older and is going through college into the 'real world').
I think the reaction was what I was looking for...when I told each on the phone I was greated by becoming deaf in one ear, then the other, then (cause I couldn't hear anymore) my wife says a ceiling above a bed in Rochester was broken by her youngest neice jumping excitedly up and down on her bed.

Plantinum conceirge here we come!!

Well, I said that I'm the Disney nut; but that's not exactly true! Ds (4) LOVES WDW too! Also, Dh pretends that he doesn't care about it; but once we get there you can tell he's really into it. I mean, any man who will get his hair cut at the Main Street Barber Shop AND get blue gel, pixie dust and a mouse head drawn on the back of his head has to like Disney a good bit!;)

I am the main Disney Nut in my house. But, my dd, 10, isn't far behind!!! A very close second. The day I came upon her trying to find better airfare to Orlando clinched it for me!!!! Dh is trying. He doesn't roll his eyes quite as much as he used to!! And he did suggest buying DVC, so I guess there's hope for him!!!

We are all nuts! I think that my kids have surpassed my nuttiness. Every morning when they wake up, they pretend they are at a different park. For example, this morning, we were eating a quick breakfast at CR, and hopping on the monorail to MK for the day....

What a way to start each morning!

Little do the kids know that we booked a trip to CR for October! How am I going to keep it from them.. I am dying to tell them! :jumping1:

Too cute!!!

Our whole family is nuts for Disney! I am the planner nut (which sometimes drives my DH crazy for my overplanning--but he doesn't complain when we have good PS times and experience the least crowded parks, etc!) My DD (8yrs), was also getting into the planning w/ her Official Guide for Kids book we got her for the last trip. Of course we all like the movies and t.v. shows. My DS 3 is nuts for Peter Pan and House of Mouse, and DD thinks Kim Possible is the best thing going. I love the pretending you're in a different park each day. Awesome!!:hyper:
