I notice that a lot of the counter serve resturaunts offer PB and Jelly sandwiches for kids. Do you get the option of whole wheat bread? Is it always creamy PB, or do some places offer crunchy? And what kind of jelly?

Everywhere my daughter got a PB+J last week it was on white bread - no choice given for whole wheat unfortunately. The PB is always creamy and the jelly is always seedless grape. Some onsite restaurants have double decker PB+J's. Hope that helps.

By the way, Wolfgang Puck Express in the Marketplace at Downtown Disney no longer has the PB+J on the menu, but you can walk right across the way and get one at Gourmet Pantry.

You can't customize PB&J sandwiches, at least at the counter serve restaurants, because they're pre-made and delivered to the restaurants. That reduces the risk that there will be peanut contamination on other food items for those with peanut allergies.

Also, sometimes they are the smuckers uncrustables, which are a pre-packaged pb&J sandwich with no crusts. My DD LOVES them and could eat them all day!! Again, smooth pb and just regular jelly. As stated earlier, all the pb&j sandwiches are pre-made with white bread, smooth pb and regular jelly.
