Now I know why Jennifer Anniston has been seen on every daytime television show and even on Larry King. She made a movie that she has to sell. She will have to sell itbecause the movie can't sell itself. I had to get my oil changed today so I decided to go to the movies while I was waiting. The good news is, I only spent $5 on it. The bad news is, its two hours long. It has its exciting moments but if it wasn't for the "surprise" ending, there would be little to redeem it. The premise is; Jennifer and Clive, known as Lucinda and Charles, both supposedly happily married, meet on a commuter train. She springs for his $9 ticket, something that total strangers do in cities all of the time, and from there they begin their hunt "for a room". Things get "derailed" quickly and we find the main character vacillating between being the biggest whimp in the world, to sacrificing career and family to "protect" a women who doesn't appear to have a last name that anyone would remember. Call the police? Now that would be reasonable but then we wouldn't have a movie so on it goes. The "hero" is hardly a nice guy but he is the best the movie has to offer so "make that leap" into imagination. Better yet, wait until it comes out on DVD.
