What is the deposit for the custom wedding? I have heard that they changed it recently.

I have been told recently that it's still the same. I specifically asked as I won't be getting my contract until May, but my wedding consultant doesn't foresee any changes.

I've always been told $1,500

My wedding is on a Tuesday. The minimums vary dependent on what day of the week you are getting married.

For a Monday-Thursday wedding, the deposit is $1500 by cheque or wire transfer only. The balance can be paid by credit card.

I found that odd because for an intimate wedding, the $500 deposit can be paid by credit card.

That must have just changed in the last year. My deposit for a Sunday wedding was 1,000.

We paid $1500 in October when we signed our contract...our wedding is a Friday evening.

I almost posted this exact question yesterday! But then I got shy because I never post. LOL. I am anxiously awaiting my 8 month mark and wondering how much initial cash I need to have. What is the deposit for a Saturday custom (or whatever they call it now!)?
