Deposit refund

I booked PFB several months ago but cancelled last week when the AP discount came out at HRH. My deposit refund showed as pending four days ago on my credit card but has since disappeared and the money hasn't been refunded. Is this the norm for Universal?

That happens sometimes (I’m looking at you Chase…) I would give it a few more days and it should post. I’ve done it many times and it has always reappeared.

I literally just went through this with two reservations I cancelled in late July. One showed up as "pending" on my Chase card, then disappeared. The other one hadn't shown up at all. I called Uni a couple of days ago, they confirmed the two cancellations and said it can take 7-14 business days for them to show up. A few days later one showed up, followed another two days later by the second one. Hope that is reassuring

Yeah same thing here - its almost always the full 14 days even though you may see the pending any time from when you cancel to a week later - - on the same credit card
That said after the two weeks call them - I have had them mess it up before but they fix it very quickly
