Deposit on Room/package

Can someone tell me if you book a package, do you have to put down a deposit right away or do they give you a time frame when you have to put one down? Looking to book the DDP package on Thursday hopefully and wasn't sure about the deposit. Thank you!

I was told you had two weeks. We have to pay for the first nights stay at our hotel.

When booking a package they give you 14 days from the day you book. Then you have to put $200.00 down and you have to pay the trip off 45 days before your arrival date.

I had to make a deposit by 5PM on the same day I received the quote on Monday....

If you book online direct with Disney, you have to pay the deposit by cc before you can actually secure the ressie - if you call them you get 14 days to pay. Then you have the choice of either paying by cc or sending them a check. The full payment is due 45 days prior to arrival. Up until that time you can make as many payments as you'd like.
