Deposit for RPR on-line ressies

Hi, everyone, hope someone could help me out with this. I wanted to know if you book the RPR resort for oct. on the internet, do they take out the deposit right away from ur credit card, or do they just hold ressies with the credit card number only w/out charging the deposit. If someone could help me with this it would be greatly appreciated.

I have several stays at rpr and one most recent at the hrh, I always book
online and they charge the full amount at checkout.
but I have heard some say that 1 night is sometimes charge at booking
most often not though.

When booking via internet the deposit section says that you will be charged the DOA (Day of Arrival x 1) but in all the years that I have been going, including my trip this September (PBH), they have never actually charged a deposit to my card. They usually just hold the room with a credit card number and never a deposit. We have stayed at the PBH for the last 5 or so years and this has always been the case. Have a great trip.

Hi! We went through Mouse Ears Vacations and booked with a wonderful representative, Pam Schuck(one of Disney's top 20!)! We are going to UO in December. MEV specializes in Disney, Universal, and cruises. We were charged a $200 on our Mastercard and will not be charged the rest by Universal, not Pam until the end of November. Pam said that UO has hired a lot of new phone agents and even she had difficulty getting our dates right and prices worked out. MEV will not require a deposit until they have everything from Disney or Universal in writing. I have several friends that have used them as well and were very pleased with the outcome. Everything will be sent to our home about 2 weeks prior to our leaving. I double checked and her prices are equal or are lower than if you book it on line yourself with Disney or UO!!!!! I love to plan, but this time I am enjoying leaving all the details up to her. She will also book all dining reservations, etc. for you as well!

6 months and counting to our UO vacation!

Thank you all for ur help, im gonna try it and see what happens, hopefully it doesnt get charged. I've stayed at RPR before and have done the ressies through the phone and they have charged it, thats why I was wondering about the on-line ressies, again, thank you so much im gonna try it on-line this time.
