Any women here on this form of birth control? I have been on it for 9 years now and love it. any thoughts or questions?

I've been on it for a little over a year now, and love it, too! I haven't had any problems with it at all!

I was on it for six years and never had any problems. I really liked it. I stopped taking it when DH and I got married, which was in June of 2001. Now we're expecting our first baby!

One side effect I have is no period. Did that happen to you too?

I loved it too especially not having a period. However, I gained 13 pounds the first year when I was on it and 8 pounds the second year. Took about a year for it to clear out of my system and another 6 months for the weight to drop off.

Yep, that happened to me and I loved it! It was wondeful not having to worry about it every month. It took about 6 months after the last shot to get really regular again. It's wasn't bad at all, though.

Please don't take this if you are prone to depression. It brought on a severe bought of depression for me that stopped 2 months after my final shot.

On the 2 years I was on it I gained 30 pounds and it's finally going off.

I had other problems that I can't mention here because the men would be grossed out.

I know it works for a lot of people but not for me.
