Departure window for ME to MCO?

We have a spa treatment and then tea planned at the GF before our return flight home. I have the earliest ADR for tea, which is at 2:00. Our flight leaves MCO at 6:40. What time do you think we'll have to do Magical Express to get to the airport? Do you think we'll have time?

Probably not.

Your ME bus will depart around 3:40 (around 3 hours before flight time). You need to be ready on the platform a little before that. And you need to plan time with room for glitches to get back to your resort to catch the ME bus.

Definately not enough time....ME will schedule your pick up at 3:40pm

3 hours is the minimum for ME pickup, so I think you'll be REALLY rushed. For a 6:30 am flight, my pickup time was 3:30 am (and there's not much traffic then), but keep in mind your bus may (and probably will) stop at other resorts before heading to MCO.

It depends on where you are staying. If you are staying at the GF or even the Polynesian, then you will have plenty of time. If you are staying one of the AS's, CSR, or AKL, it's going to be very tight, but still doable--BUT you'll have to spring for a cab back to your resort.

Tea can be done in a hour, get there as early as possible so you can be one of the first seated, As long as you leave by about 3:10 you'll have plenty of time to cab back to your resort, get your luggage, and be ready to go.

The next question--what time is your massage?

Thanks for all the replies. I don't know what to do now Maybe I should make it on a different day? If I did the spa at SSR would that help? Here are some more details: We'll be staying at BWV. This trip is actually a grad present for DD whose friend insisted an adult go but since backed out of the trip Anyway she found another friend to go but I didn't want to be the 3rd wheel so my friend from Atlanta is joining me for 1/2 the week. She'll only be there Tues. night til we leave on Fri. We'll do the parks one day with her and then? It doesn't leave us a lot of windows for other things. I suppose I could ask ME to pick us up at GF but I don't want to screw anything up.

Massages at noon at the GF Spa (I'm assuming 50 minute treatments) you'll be to the Garden View Lounge by about 1:30-1:45, and tea from 2:00 to 3:15. Grab a cab back to the BWV ($16+ tip +/-) and you'll be there by 3:30. Get your luggage and board ME. Easy!

DMe does pick-ups and drop-offs ONLY at/to the resort where you are/were a registered guest. They won't let you elect where to take DME to or from.

That will work if the OP is flying with a participating airline otherwise the OP should allow 15 minutes to get the luggage out of storage.

OK, tea from 2:00 to 3:10. Frankly an hour is generally plenty of time.

We're flying Delta. I'm thinking I should do this on another day--too stressful; although I really like the idea of doing both on one day and right before we leave. ARGHH!
