Totally new to this part of the DIS...I apologize in advance if this is a dumb question. :)

My husband and I are going to Disneyland Paris August 29 - Sept 1 to celebrate our 1st anniversary. We are staying at the Hotel Santa Fe and have the unlimited admission tickets. Our train departs Disneyland Paris at 16:23 so we plan on spending the bulk of the day in the parks. How does this work as far as checking out goes? Do we request a late checkout and go to the parks? Or do we check out and leave our bags behind and will we be able to enter the parks if so? I know the charging privileges will no longer work on our checkout day, but what about the admission portion?

We appreciate your knowledgeable assistance very much! :)

Hi McDuck and welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:
We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

If you have not had a look yet, DLP posting rules are here, DIS posting guidelines can be found here.

I'm presuming that your passes are part of the package. You'll checkout and leave your luggage at bag storage at the hotel. As you say you cannot use your hotel id to charge to your room but you'll have no problem with entry into either Disneyland park or Walt Disney Studios :)

If your passes have been booked as a package with the hotel there will be no problem with getting into the park on your last day.

The luggage store is just across from the reception building at the Santa Fe. I can't remember how much it costs.

We have always checked out first thin and left our bags at the luggage store in our hotel, but as Santa Fe is a bit of a walk you might want to leave your bags at the eurostar station (small fee of a few euros per item I think) to save you some time at the end of your last day.

If you're taking the train from DLRP on your last day, I'd say take your cases to the left luggage at the train station on your way into the parks in the morning, once you've checked out of the Santa Fe.

It costs 9.50 euros for the biggest lockers there, less for the other 2 smaller sizes. Then you can make the most of your last day in the parks, without having to return to the Santa Fe for your luggage.

It's a relief to know that entry won't be a problem regardless of checking out! :)

We each plan on taking one carry-on size suitcase (fits in overhead bin on most airplanes). If we did opt to rent a locker at the train station as opposed to leaving our bags at the Santa Fe, would they both fit in one of the largest lockers or would we need two, do you know? Thanks again! :)

I would say one locker will be fine, i find the lockers are rather large and hold a lot. It held my suitcase and lots of bags!

Thanks. I've passed all this info on to my husband...now we have options!!! :)
