departure day ideas

We are leaving Sunday June 1st (noonish) but wanted to see a park for a few hours before leaving. Currently I have an AM ADR for the star wars breakfast but it will be our second day at HS on our trip and I am just not sure I want to deal with the SWW crowd a 2nd time. We have no time scheduled in AK this trip so a morning stop there could be an option. Other option is have no plans made and just go with the flow. Any ideas for a last half day?

What time does your flight leave and are you using DME to get to the airport? DME picks up 3 hours prior to departure so that's something to keep in mind if you have an early afternoon flight.

AK is a good plan especially if you're able to get an ADR for Tusker House. It's the only park where we "take it easy" and might make for a relaxing morning. Plus, if you get there for RD you'll be able to do things you haven't done on this trip (KS, EE, etc).

We are driving back to Atlanta so no flight to worry about.

We never go to a park on departure day. Our tradition is breakfast at Chef Mickey's to say good bye to the characters and then a trip to DTD to pick up any last gifts to bring home and to use up any left over Dining Credits.

On departure day, we like to hit whichever park has morning EMH for a few hours before our DME time.

I have usually done the EMH park but like the idea of a special meal like Chef Mickeys as mentioned above. Not quite at 180 window so will give it some thought.

I say go to AK but maybe not make any ADR's. Have a quick breakfast at the hotel and then a relaxing morning at AK.
