I guess this is just far less of an issue for me.
I usually use Secret clear gel.... the only thing is, it can stain too, as someone else noted, so I didn't want to use it on my wedding day.
So, for the big day, I bought a can of aerosol antipersperant (which must be pretty unpopular these days, because I noticed there weren't many brands of it left for women. Plenty for men, but not many for women.) I don't like most
scents in that sort of thing, so I usually get unscented, though the Secret get I get is peach - I've found I really like the smell of that one. So, looking around, I was looking for whatever spray was unscented or as close to unobtrustive and unoffensive as I could get if unscented was unavailable.
I think what I ended up finding was Suave in powder fresh, which is usually my first alternative when unscented is unavailable.
And I have VERY sensitive skin too, and used to have a lot of problems - but I've found that ever since I decided I prefer to get these kinds of things unscented, or if I have to get a scent, I go with powder, or a fruity kind of scent if at all possible, I have far fewer problems than I used to. Hardly ever anymore, in fact.
Slightly OT - but in fact, with such sensitive skin, I used to think things like Bath and Body works would be completely off limits, but I can't get enough of the the stuff. But I only like the fruity type of scents (or maybe stuff like chocolate, cinnamon, gingerbread, etc.) Never anything floral. As long as I stick with that rule, it seems that I'm ok.
At any rate, back to the topic at hand, the spray stuff worked just fine. I put it on while I was getting ready, made sure I did it at least 10 - 15 minutes before I was going to put the dress on (though it ended up being quite a bit longer than that.) It lasted all day, and worked just fine for me.
I still prefer my gel, but for special occasions where I'm worried about getting that gel on something, I think I'll be pulling out the spray can.
