Hey ladies, just wondering what kind of deoderant you used or are planning on using for your outside ceremony?
I want something that will obviously work to prevent smell and wetness but also want something that won't leave that lovely whiteness under my arm either. :rotfl2:

I thought I was the only one that was worried about this!!! I would also like to know this!

I am not sure what kind I am going to wear but I reccomend using Certain Dri for like a month ahead of time. It stops sweating and drys up sweat glands. I also plan on using the new clinical strength deodarent that is out now.

If I remember correctly, I used Arrid XX Ultra Clear spray deodorant (which I allowed to dry thoroughly before putting on my dress -- didn't want to take any chances!). Worked like a charm!

I use Lady Mitchum, I like the shower fresh scent. It's the only thing that really helps me without going to extremes (like Botox or something)

I second the recommendation for Certain Dri. It works great!

I like using the salt cake (you can buy at basin.com or at DTD) it really kills the smell and there is no chemical!

My body builds an immunity to deodorant and after about half a stick, it stops working! I literally had 3 deodorants on my bathroom counter!

I decided to try the salt when I saw it in DTD and was really surprised it work...it even works between my "girls" ...( I can't believe I just said that out loud!)

there is a DEGREE that is "little black dress approved" that is good..but hands down..the salt has been a savior!

I used certain dri a couple of weeks before the wedding (at night) and then used secret clear gel the day of! It worked perfectly and it was over 95 degrees the day of my wedding!

Be careful of gel deodorants. While they are clear, they can leave a yellowish stain behind.

Dove in the cucumber scent does not leave a whitish residue. The stick itself is white, but goes on clear. I wear it with strapless dresses and swimsuits and never have an issue.

I thought I was the only one that had this question. I am glad to know others are curious as well!! Thanks for all your great answeres everyone!

great thread! I started using the new secret clinical strength one they have out... it works great BUT definitely leaves white marks, so I'll have to figure out something else for the wedding.

You know I just thought about this the other day. I think I will test some out the day of because sometimes the clear ones don't work for me so I have to see. I thought I was the only one who was worrying about this.

I used Secret solid and didn't have any problems. I am allergic to so many different things, and I didn't want to take a chance.

A few thinsg about deodorants I have learned the hard way. If you have sensitive skin be very wary of Certain Dri. I tried it once and broke out in the worst rash of my life -- so bad I had to go to the doctor. She said she sees so many people come in with that problem because they assume that since it's over the counter it's safe. Not so. If you have any skin problems be very careful with that. The secret clinical strength seems to be a bit gentler. Use it as it recommends on the package -- put it on at night before you go to bed and then in the a.m. you should be fine to go or you can put on another deodorant in then a.m. I put the secret on at night and then dove invisible on in the a.m. Works great -- no white marks, no rash, no sweat (and I'm one of the people that has had deodorant prescribed for them but it also caused a rash). One thing my doc also said is to stick with one deodorant. Your body doesn't build up a tolerance for those things -- after a while chemistry might change and you need a different strength or something but the more regularly you use something then your body adapts to it and begins to work with it. Ever switch shampoos and see totally different results for awhile? That's cause your body is adjusting to something new and then when it begins to work with it you don't get the same effect you first had. Doesn't mean the product is ineffective it just means it's now working with your body instead of against it. I say start testing what you think you'll want to use now in the summer heat cause that will show its effectiveness through and through!

Certain Dri
It is the best thing, it was even recommended to me by my doctor.

You put it on the night before right before bed and even when you shower in the morning it doesn't come off!
I still use this if I have a strapless gown, etc.

Give it a try before your wedding to make sure it causes no skin irritation.
