there may be a thread about this already, and if so, i appologize!!!

but iwas wondering what happens when you end up having to deny?
when you go online to deny, does it ask for a reason, etc.?

ive heard of people denying their offer for one session and therefore being offered a different one- for example: applying and being given an offer for fall 09, ending up denying the offer, and being offered spring 2010 because you denied fall 09.

has this actually happened?

i would never want to deny an offer, EVER, dont get me wrong, but i keep thinking of the worst case scenarios and this was one of them haha.

Declining an offer is not a big deal at all. I declined Fall 08 because I didn't like my role and was quickly accepted for Spring 09. They don't ask for a reason when you decline, all you do is click it on the website.

I know people who declined a CP, and were accepted again for another one.

But you won't be automatically accepted for another CP. You have to apply again.

Is there any way to get on a waiting list if you have been rejected for a program. Like if anyone does decline, they will need to fill the spots??

There could be. But I don't think there is.

I'm fairly certain that this is a 'no'. If they reject someone, that person is rejected. Occasionally, for roles such as Entertainment, they may put people into a character waiting pool; however, that is the only wait-list I've heard of. Either way, they will tell you that upfront, without rejecting you first.

I declined for spring advantage 09. Because I'm continuing with school, instead, it means I can graduate next Dec. I'm hoping to then do the CP in spring 2010, and continue working full time for them after I finish the program.

That's what I did and it worked out really well :) Only, I had to leave for a family emergency following my CP and am just now leaving (friday morning) to resume my Disney career (hopefully) FT. Good luck with your final year!
