That's all I have to say. Thanks.![]()
I knew you women were exaggerating the pain of giving birth, if men gave birth, they would just rub some dirt on there ****** then go play ball
3 completely unmedicated births - a breeze, no problem
going to the dentist - would prefer full sedation if I had a chance
For those of you who say dental pain is worse than giving birth pain, this is for you.
My first child was delivered naturally (except for a needed episiotomy), I was unmedicated. And I felt like all my innerds, guts etc were coming out with the baby. The pressure on my body during labor was OMG terrible. Thank God it only lasted 3 hours and then birth. I waited 6 years to try for another one because I was afraid to go though that again. Second baby was laying sideways and it felt like he had grabbed on to my intestines and was pulling them out with him. (Impossible, I know, but that's what it felt like. After 23 hours of manipulating him to try to make him turn, they finally did a c-section. And guess what? NO MORE BABIES FOR ME!
Getting my wisdom teeth pulled was no picnic, but they drugged me up enough so it wasn't too bad. I hate going to the dentist, especially when I have a cavity. That machine does torturous things to my brain. But still, I'd rather go through that again than go through childbirth again.
A woman went to her dentist and said, I'd rather give birth that get a tooth pulled. The dentist said "well, let me know so I can adjust the chair correctly."![]()

I've had two unmedicated labors/births, but no dental work to compare it to!
Getting teeth pulled was no problem for me. Having an abscessed tooth OTOH was excruciating.
yeah ok....we all know if men had to give birth the human race would have died out years ago. Men are the biggest babies when it comes to pain.
Yes, I would rather have dental work than give birth again (2 kids all natural no drugs..not by my choice...stupid Air Force hospital wouldn't give them to me) but I think the OP is talking about dental pain which is way different than the pain of dental work. I've had tooth pain before that pretty much made me delirious with pain. Thanks to a rash of broken bones in the past 7 years, I've been in pain pretty much every day since 2004, but I'll take all that over dental pain any day of the week!
Yeah, I have an abcess beneath 3 of my left lower teeth, way in the back. This is a throbbing, cant get away from it, all over the left side of my skull, kind of pain. I started on antibiotics yesterday afternoon and the dentist said I should feel some relief by today. I hope he's right.Physical pain rarely brings me to tears, but twice I was in tears with this pain.
And I am taking a prescription pain killer but it's barely touching the pain.![]()
