Dental Conference in October

We will be traveling to Universal for the first time in October for a dental conference. They are having a "Private" event for attendees/families at IoA on the first night from 7pm-midnight. Does anyone have any experience with these? Is this something we should definitely plan for and then do the Studios the next night. I just don't want to hype it up in my mind and then get there and be really disappointed with things being closed or whatever. Any insight would be great, thanks!

I have not attended any of the private events, but I like many on the boards here that go to Universal see these events going on for big companies.

This is an after hours event and the park would be closed to everyone else except the event attendees. All the rides should be open for the event and this would give all of the event attendees easy access to the rides at little or no waiting.

Also with these events food it offered at times.

I would check with who ever is putting on the conference and ask what is included in the event.

Either way I would for sure go and take advantage of enjoying the rides and food or snacks that are provided.

There will be a few rides that need to be clear of riders by midnight, Hagrids & Velocicoaster among them. For those rides, they will cut off the line before midnight, so don't save them for the very end expecting to hop in line at the last minute.
