Denial of Service Attack??

vmkkidsunite.com is reporting a possible denial of service attack, can someone more computer savvy than i explain what this means please?

Its actually as simple as it sounds

they deny service.

A group of machines send information to a single machine in an attempt to overwhelm the target.

ETA: if you can read their site then they are mistaken. Or its a really weak attack.
