They say for emotional and physical issues. It also says she's gone through an eating disorder and cutting.

According to reports drugs are not an issue. But then you never know.

Yikes. I really like Demi Lovato (and Selena Gomaz who are friends)~ I hope she can get the treatment she needs. Not that drugs and alcohol addictions aren't horrible, but cutting is a symptom of some serious issues.

When I heard emotional issues, cutting was the first thing that came to mind. How horrible. I also read a report about her physically fighting someone on her tour.

I hope she is able to get the help she needs.

It must be tough for her to be stuck on tour with not only her ex, but with her ex's NE girlfriend (apparently Joe is dating Ashley Greene and she goes everywhere with him).

Poor girl. I hope she gets the help she needs. At least she is doing what she needs to do and is cancelling her tour. I doubt very few starlets would do that.

Really, I'm surprised? She is the female star in the Camp Rock movies and she has her own show on Disney called Sonny With a Chance. She also has an album out and popular with the tweens.
I guess she isn't in the news because she isn't contraversial, like Miley, but Demi seems like a good young adult and I hope she gets the help she needs. My dd will be sad, she is a fan.

Pictures came out a few years ago when the first Camp Rock came out of her wrists with marks that people thought were associated with cutting. She said she had wore bracelets too tightly.
With this, it seems clear that it was cutting

I suprised that Selena Gomez hasn't come out with an eating disorder also. She seems way too thin. Since they are good friends nad in the same career path I can imagine they both are under alot of pressure.

Maybe its not cool to like her if you are a boy? My 10 year old ds likes her show on Disney but its because my dd watches it, I'm not sure he admits that to his friends

Probably- he never watched High School Musical or Camp Rock either. He likes Eminem

I just saw the pictures of this.. it really just doesn't seem like bracelets would do that..

i have noticed that she seems a lot thinner this season on Sonny with a Chance. i hope she gets help. she seems like one of the more down-to-earth Disney starlets.

A lot of my friends' daughters are going to be very disappointed...she was to have played here on Thursday.

Hope she gets better soon. It's so tragic that all of these girls, who seem to have everything going their way, end up suffering so much. For every Jodi Foster there seems be a dozen Lindsay Lohans.
