I am investigating the prices of the deluxe and from what I have found so far it seems that the

cr is the cheapest then
beach club
yacht cl poly
grand floridian
ak

is this right?? I thought the GF was the most$$ does it have more to do with the room perhaps?

2 adults 3 kids hotel only at poly for 7 nights =2323.30 =331.90 can I get a better rate than that? If so how? its for nov. so I havent found any codes yet. any help is appreciated.

Well, I'm not sure if you are interested in staying here since it wasn't on your list, but acutally, I think WL is the cheapest! Rates start at $194, or, if you are going during the regular summer season, you can take advantage of the codes that will give you $139 rate for standard views at bot WL and AKL. Also, Yacht and Beach club both offer the same rates so one will not be more expensive than the other.

Grand Floridian would be the most expensive if you were only sleeping a family of four. Unfortunately, with a family of five - AKL will only allow you to stay in their deluxe savannah view room which have day beds, and those rooms are expensive!

My DH would love to stay at AKL, but we haven't yet due to the big increase in cost over CR. They are offering some great deals over the summer, but unfortunately DH is a mountain boy and melts in the heat - still waiting to see what AP rates will offer for early December. Wish us luck!

There aren't any codes or AP discounts for November yet, so the only discount around is Disney Club. If your heart is set on the Poly, go ahead and reserve, and hopefully they will release fall/winter codes later this summer.

We are Mom and Dad to three as well, all girls, ages 5,11, and 13.

Good Luck with your stay!

When in November are you going? That may impact the availability of discounts. For now you can probably get disney club or AAA discounts.

I'm guessing AK is the highest because you need a deluxe room in order to hold 5 people. GF, poly & CR can all hold 5 in a regular room.

Happy planning! :)

The cheapest deluxe for a family of 5 would probably be the Contemporary, in a wing room. :)

Kidzmom3, have you checked out the new DISavers service yet? I'm using them for my upcoming GF stay and they are saving me several hundred dollars on top of my Disney Club discount. It's worth a look into at least.
