Deluxe vs Standard Rooms at HRH

Can anyone tell me what the differences are between Deluxe and Standard rooms at the Hard Rock Hotel (apart from the price of course!!).

Also, whether Deluxe is worth the additional price.

The standard rooms are 375 sq. ft and deluxe are aprox. 500 sq ft. If the extra space is important to you I guess it would be worth the additional $. Also if you have 5 in a room.

We stayed in a deluxe last October. The rooms has an odd shape, but was so spacious. There were 3 of us: DH, DD and me--we took turns sleeping on the sofa bed, so we all had a bed to ourself each night. As you walk into the room, there is a nice area with a closet (mirrored doors), a bench with space underneath--great for storing the dirty clothes bag, and shoes. Also in this extra area was a desk and a minibar. The desk had a mirror and outlet, so it was good for putting on makeup (which I promptly sweated off at the park), and drying my hair. Across the entry way was the vanity with sink, mirror and shaving mirror, with a separate door into the bathroom--another sink, toilet and bathtub, with hanging string for drying clothes. The room itself was large with 2 queen beds, and a sofa bed, a large table with 2-3 chairs, and otoman. I haven't seen the regular rooms, but the deluxe rooms were the nicest hotel rooms I've stayed in.
