Deluxe upgrade question

I promise, I looked but couldn't find this question asked before! We got the pin for free dining during peak season. So, my question is, if we upgrade will the difference be based on the regular dining plan price, or the peak price? I know it's only a few dollars difference for peak, but was just curious. My hunch is since I got the dining plan for "free", if I want to upgrade they would base it on the regular price.

Peak price for the regular plan, if you are going in a peak season. Makes no difference if you paid for the QS plan or got it free, if you upgrade to basic you will pay the peak price.

I'm sorry, I meant upgrade to Deluxe from the basic dining plan. We are staying at AKL and got the basic plan free, so would the cost to upgrade be based on the $45.99 or the $47.99? I know it's only a few bucks, I was just curious.

47.99. they give you credit for the peak pricing.
