Planning a trip for our family of four and want to be able to kick back with wife and have some wine after kids fall asleep. Can you sit outside rooms in moderates (thought I saw chairs in some of Port Orleans pics). Not sure we want to pay the extra money just to sit outside.

Thanks:santa:

Yes, only the deluxe resorts have balconies. The moderates and values are motel-style, with outside entrances along a concrete walkway. Some people do bring their chairs outside and sit, but you're going to have people passing by and sort of stepping over you. Not exactly a relaxing atmosphere.

It might be a bit better if you have a ground floor room, you could be near the room and off the walkway, maybe?

And not all deluxe rooms have balconies. There are rooms at the Polynesian and Contemporary that do not have balconies, only slider windows with rails outside to keep you from falling out the window.

That has always been mine and DH's intention, but it just never seems to work out that way. We are usually falling asleep before the kids are. :lmao: :lmao:
