If you were going on the deluxe dining plan with your spouse and a toddler (20 months), would you eat 3 meals a day or would you eat 2 meals and make one of them a signature restaurant? I already have my ADRs assuming the latter except for 1 night at Yachtsman with a few character breakfasts included. Other info- she is usually excellent in restaurants and we have never eaten at a signature restaurant before. We each get 2 snacks a day as well which could work for breakfast, but I can't decide if I should add a few more signature ressies in there in case it just gets to be too much food. Considering Citricos, Flying Fish and Narcoosees. Staying at Poly, then Beach Club. Okay, discuss!

I would do more signatures and only eat two meals. We do a breakfast and signature dinner. Eating and sitting down to eat 3 times a day is hard for a little one. They want to be out exploring not taking 2 hours to eat 3 times a day. Only you know your child, however. Taking her to signature restraunts is fine, there are a lot of kids there. Have fun!

Your plan seems like it would work, it's similar to how I would plan it. However you have a toddler to keep in mind. I can almost guarantee that after a TS meal, you'll need at least 4-6hrs to to even feel a little hungry again. You're probably gonna have looooong days ahead of you to do two TS meals a day. If you know you're gonna have naps (real ones, stroller doesn't count ;)) in between, it shouldn't be too demanding. I never had a kid, all I know is that they generally have a meltdown when they're up all day from rope drop to closing time.

Also do you plan on renting a car? All the signature restaurants are at other resorts, so you may be doing a lot of transfers and walking if not! That's a lot to ask from your child IMHO!

My two cents. Cheers! :surfweb:

Thanks! We will have our own car, so no problem there.

Which signature restaurants would you guys add if given the chance? I just wonder if it is worth it, considering we prefer lunch and dinner foods to breakfast, but won't do some of the character meals if we don't do breakfast. (Currently have scheduled, Akershus, Cape May Breakfast and either Ohana or 1900 Park Fare.) The only other character meal we have is Crystal Palace dinner.

We do a mixture of both when we use the deluxe plan - some days we have 3 1 TS credit meals, other days we do 1 signature, 1 regular TS meal and fill in with snacks.

We do the one table service and one signature. On our honeymoon we tried to eat a few days where we had 3 meals and it almost killed me. And I wasn't even eating everything. I would leave quite a bit of food on my plate. We now only do an early lunch and later signature dinner. We grab a snack first thing in the morning to get us going for the day. This is the only way that we could possibly enjoy any of the food we get.

we are doing a mix of both. One day we're doing a breakfast buffet and a signature dinner then the next day we're doing 3 meals spaced out by 5 hours between meals. ( we've got a 4 year old, so we want to have a little consistency and also have a break)

but like you, we wanted to try the signatures too. We're doing Narcoossee's and Flying Fish and CRT (twice). I like the idea of switching off though....then it's not a ton of food each day. Because we need SOME room for cupcakes at Starring Rolls ! :rotfl2: (and they WILL NOT be overlooked!)

I like your plan. I would add in HDDR if you want another 2TS credit meal. Lots of fun and it includes some alcohol (beer and sangria) and the gratuities.

We have always done a late breakfast (usually a character one) and an 2 credit dinner. We can't eat more than that in a day and it works out really well for us. We don't get an early start-we're on vacation LOL! But with a little one you might need to do breakfast early-but you can still use those snack credits during the day and schedule your dinners early :)

Good luck!:goodvibes
